@DickCArbiter As for the couple in the video, this was their wedding day. I sincerely doubt they would intentionally offend God on one of the most important days of their lives. Although they acted outside the box, they had permission from their minister to do so and therefore thought it was all right. In any case, neither you nor I know what was in their hearts since only God knows the heart of a man. Plus, as you yourself said, church is for sinners so they were in the right place.

@DickCArbiter A well thought out response. But I will have to disagree, though it may take me two posts. It says many places throughout the Bible that God looks not at appearances but at the heart. A church's design, hymns, and rituals are designed to help people focus their attention on God. Sure we are all sinners, but until we get our hearts in the right place, we are not respecting God. If the man cannot focus on God in the church, what is he doing elsewhere?
